This integrative workout blends Dance, Martial Arts, and Healing Arts.  Nia is a low impact barefoot workout performed to inspirationally eclectic music. Pilates:

Pilates simultaneously develops strength and flexibility. This method of training is designed to teach optimal core (trunk) function to correct postural imbalances, increases flexibility, improves breathing and increases abdominal strength and torso stabilization. Pilates is defined as experiencing all movement from the inside out while concentrating on the process of how a movement is performed rather than being engaged mindlessly on one repetition after another. This profound form of training is designed to help you become more aware of your body and how it was designed to move.
