Ongoing Training Programs

Looking for that extra edge? Need some additional motivation? Want to achieve long-lasting results?

Even while exercising consistently, you might experience the occasional plateau, or hit a wall in your workout routine. That’s where we come in, not only to design programs, but to help you become more consistent while engaging that all-important fun factor in your fitness routine, whether it’s individual or group activities. We offer the following fee-based fitness programs so you can enjoy that extra edge, gain additional motivation and inspiration as well as experience long-lasting results:

BOOT CAMP: BASIC TRAINING
During this 4-week program that takes you both indoors and out, Boot Camp Instructor Extraordinaire, Tom Hart, leads groups that are comprised of men, women, and co-ed from every shape and age to new fitness levels by integrating military calisthenics, athletic drills, Yoga, Pilates, jogging, sprinting, and traditional weight training and cardio activities. On a twice-weekly schedule, no matter rain or shine, you’ll be challenged to break out of your comfort zone and awaken your inner strength and endurance while enjoying the myriad of benefits that come with being fit for life.

WOMEN’S CIRCUIT TRAINING
This 4-week program, directed by Katie Mason, Certified Personal Trainer, is designed specifically for women. With objectives that include having fun while getting lean and fit within the social environment of WCSFC, this program will show you results. You’ll relish the combination of intervals that include strength, cardio, balance, and core work to ensure that you never waste a moment in this class.

GRAVITY: GROUP STRENGTH CLASSES
How do you achieve a highly toned body without using free weights? GRAVITY, of course! This is a unique fitness program, designed using only one piece of equipment, and for 30-minute sessions. You will attain total body strength and flexibility whether you’re new to working out or are looking to ramp up your fitness with a program that is new and innovative. Using the concept of incline resistance, GRAVITY classes, conducted in groups of 3-7 people or smaller semi-private classes, are led by certified instructors that take you through a series of 8 different levels to accommodate the novice to the advanced. The GRAVITY concept uses your body with gravity to create resistance for the multitude of exercises you’re instructed to engage. If you are looking to achieve a highly toned body without using free weights, this program is for  you!

GRAVITYouth CAMPS
GRAVITYouth is a program designed for those 11-16 years of age. It provides the great combination of strength training with a bit of cardio thrown in to engage the fun factor kids expect. In this non-intimidating environment, youngsters not only learn the proper form of exercising, but how useful these are to the activities they engage in with everyday life. An added benefit: this program is designed in such a way to help participants build confidence and self-esteem.

PILATES ALLEGRO REFORMER CAMPS
Have you wondered how the great dancers of the world stay healthy and strong, or how, week to week the “Dancing with the Stars” pros and celebrities manage their health between shows? You can engage in what great dancers and athletes have realized for decades, right here in the Pilates Studio at WCSFC! This mindbody program is conducted in our Pilates Studio, in small-group settings, led by Certified Pilates Reformer Trainers, and is designed to help you find balance and become mindfully centered in a matter of 8-weeks (Introductory Level). For those with more advanced experience, we have Level 2+ programs using our Allegro Reformers, that are designed just for you. Group classes are based on the progressive system: as you become more proficient in Level 1, you are able to move into a more advanced group to learn exercises that will take you to higher levels of focused breath, greater muscle balance, enhanced posture, greater flexibility and core strength.
