Part-time positions at WCSFC include: Customer Service Representative, Café Servers, Child Care Attendant, Housekeeping, Maintenance and Janitorial Staff.

Full-time positions at WCSFC include: Department Supervisors, Membership Representatives, and Business Office Staff.

Our Personal Trainers are required to have a minimum of a Bachelors degree in Exercise Science or a related fitness field as well as fitness certifications through one or more of the following nationally accredited governing bodies: NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine), ACSM (American College of Sports Medicine), ACE (American Council of Exercise), NSCA (National Strength and Conditioning Association), both the CPT and CSCS certifications (Certified Strength and Conditioning Association), ISSA (International Sports Sciences Association), and AFAA (Aerobic and Fitness Association of America).

Group Fitness Instructors are required to have fitness certifications earned through the following nationally accredited governing bodies: ACE, AFAA, ACSM and/or Specialty Fitness Certification, i.e., Yoga, Pilates, Nia, Cycle, Aqua Fitness, and CPR. We additionally look for the following knowledge and skills: experience teaching in a fitness facility, continuing education through CEC workshops for professional development, industry fitness and leadership conventions, possess excellent people and communication skills, have an outgoing, positive, and friendly personality, be customer service-oriented in providing effective relationships with associates, co-workers, members, guests, and engage in a work style that represents professionalism, reliability, organization, high energy, innovative, and interactively communicative. Going beyond expectations includes possessing a degree in Physical & Health Education/Kinesiology and having abilities to teach a minimum of two different types of fitness classes offered at our facility.

As important as any degree or fitness certification, all trainers and instructors must be CPR and First Aid Certified. All Department Supervisors must be CPR, First Aid, and AED certified.
